Job Opportunity: Software Developer with a Focus on AI

We are seeking a motivated Software Developer to join our Software Development team in Oetwil am See (Canton Zurich). In this role, you will be pivotal in developing and maintaining our 3DX™ Blade Platform. We value a hands-on approach and a “get things done” mindset, along with the ability to work creatively and solve complex problems. As a Software Developer, you will interact with various internal stakeholders to design and implement high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain AI pipelines, primarily focused on computer vision.
  • Prototype, demonstrate, and validate new AI-driven use cases to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Contribute to drone flight and mission software development (Android/Kotlin).
  • Collaborate closely with software and operations teams.
  • Provide technical support to drone pilots during field operations.
  • Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and design to testing and deployment.

About You

  • Hands-on experience in AI and Machine Learning using Python and PyTorch.
  • High level of initiative and ownership: proactive in bringing new ideas, challenging existing approaches, and continuously seeking to improve solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Robotics, Computer Vision, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong analytical thinking, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth understanding of geometry, spatial reasoning, and geospatial data.
  • Experience in drone or robotics software development; mobile development in Android/Kotlin is an asset.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
