Position: Software Developer Focused on AI

We are currently looking for a motivated Software Developer for our team in Oetwil am See (canton Zurich). In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing and maintaining our 3DX™ Blade Platform. We appreciate a hands-on approach, a “get things done” mindset, and the ability to work creatively to solve complex problems. As a key member of our team, you will interact with various internal stakeholders to design and implement high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain AI pipelines, primarily focused on computer vision.
  • Prototype, demonstrate, and validate new AI-driven use cases to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Contribute to drone flight and mission software (Android/Kotlin).
  • Collaborate closely with software and operations teams.
  • Provide technical support to drone pilots during field operations.
  • Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and design to testing and deployment.

About You

  • Hands-on experience in AI/Machine Learning using Python and PyTorch.
  • A high level of initiative and ownership: proactively bringing ideas, challenging existing approaches, and continuously seeking ways to improve solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Robotics, Computer Vision, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong analytical thinking, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Robust understanding of geometry, spatial reasoning, and geospatial data.
  • Experience in drone or robotics software development, and mobile development in Android/Kotlin is an asset.
  • Fluency in English; German is a plus.
