Ready for Swisscom

As part of a small agile DevOps team, you will develop and operate internal Swisscom applications for mobility, room reservations, data storage, collaboration spaces, and Copilot. Working collaboratively with your team, you will ensure that the internal solutions are always up to date and facilitate their digital transformation. You will design and develop software for both frontend and backend, contributing to the quality and security of our systems. By employing innovative technologies and concepts, you aim to enhance the quality of our support and provide exceptional services. Part of your time will be dedicated to an automation initiative focused on streamlining end-to-end enterprise processes and workflows. With a passion for software engineering and cloud platforms, you will help elevate Swisscom to the next level.

• Ensure the high quality of services by utilizing modern software architectures and cloud technologies
• Handle operation, 3rd level support, lifecycle management, further development, and monitoring for our applications
• Engage in full stack development and operation, ranging from small applications to entire frameworks, within a self-organized team
• Maintain a passion for the entire software lifecycle, including analysis, design, implementation, testing, and operation
• Develop cloud-native solutions
• Undertake versatile tasks in the automation initiative to optimize end-to-end processes and workflows

Your Skills

• Completed IT apprenticeship specializing in application development or an equivalent qualification
• Experience with both back-end (.NET, .NET Core) and front-end technologies (Angular or React)
• Experience in DevOps workflows and software architecture, including UML (data, use case, sequence), as well as expertise in relational, non-relational, and in-memory databases, and API development, particularly REST
• Independent and motivated to tackle new challenges, open to feedback, and eager to share knowledge with team members or the entire organization; knowledge in agile working methods is a plus
• Good command of English; German and/or French is a plus
• Experience with SharePoint, Power Platform, Microsoft 365, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), Kafka, JavaScript, and ASP.NET are nice to have
