PeaceWomen Across the Globe (PWAG) is an international feminist peacebuilding organization based in Bern, Switzerland. Our team is seeking a skilled social media specialist with proven experience in creating engaging content and developing effective social media strategies for political campaigns in Switzerland. We are looking for individuals who share our feminist values and are eager to contribute their knowledge and insights to help us reach diverse audiences both in Switzerland and internationally. While the role will primarily be remote, occasional visits to our office in Bern are encouraged. The collaboration is expected to last from April to the end of October 2026, with the possibility of extension into December to be discussed.

Key Responsibilities

In close collaboration with PWAG's communication and network & advocacy teams, your main deliverables will include:

• Supporting the creation, strategy, and implementation of a political campaign, utilizing provided content while coordinating closely with external partners (Time Frame: April - June)
• Creating content and mentoring PWAG staff on effective social media communication and marketing strategies (Time Frame: Spring - Autumn)
• Assisting in social media activities for an event in October

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

• Proven track record in social media management and political campaigning in Switzerland
• Excellent command of English and German, with professional working proficiency in French (Spanish is a plus)
• Strong alignment with PWAG's values and principles

What We Offer

Join us in supporting feminist causes, working independently in a dedicated and enthusiastic feminist team, with the flexibility of remote work. Our budget for this assignment is CHF 5,000.

Project Timeline

• Start: Mid-March/beginning of April 2026
• End: The end of October 2026 (Possible extension until mid-November/mid-December based on mutual agreement)
