PeaceWomen Across the Globe (PWAG) is an international feminist peacebuilding organization based in Bern, Switzerland. Our team is on the lookout for a talented social media specialist with proven experience in crafting compelling content and developing effective social media strategies for political campaigns within Switzerland. We seek an individual who resonates with our feminist values and is enthusiastic about sharing their expertise to help us engage audiences both locally and internationally. While the role is primarily remote, occasional visits to our office in Bern would be ideal. The expected duration of the collaboration is from April to the end of October 2026, with the possibility of an extension through December based on discussion.

Deliverables

The successful candidate will work closely with PWAG's communication and network & advocacy teams to:

• Support the creation, strategy, and implementation of a political campaign (content will be provided, and tight coordination with external actors will be expected). Time frame: April - June.
• Create engaging content, mentor, and support PWAG staff in effective social media communication and marketing. Time frame: Spring - Autumn.
• Assist with social media initiatives for an event in October.

What We Are Looking For

• A proven track record in social media and political campaigning within Switzerland.
• Excellent command of English and German; professional working proficiency in French is highly desirable (Spanish is a plus).
• A strong alignment with PWAG's values and principles.

Our budget for this assignment is CHF 5,000.

Start: Mid-March / beginning of April 2026
