Your Main Responsibilities

As a Site Manager, you will ensure professional and reliable outage and inspection site management for our Service Business, leveraging your broad knowledge and passion for our GT26 gas turbines.

Your Primary Tasks Include:

  • Managing international field teams during power plant outages across Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.
  • Ensuring strict compliance with Ansaldo Energia's environmental, health, and safety policies.
  • Maintaining dedicated project control on-site regarding quality, time, and cost.
  • Representing Ansaldo Energia towards clients, partners, sub-contractors, and local authorities.
  • Organizing and implementing site kick-off meetings, and daily coordination and feedback meetings with all involved parties on-site.
  • Collaborating closely with other Ansaldo Energia departments, local organizations, field staff, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Setting tasks and priorities, including deadlines for the site team.
  • Ensuring the provision of local resources and materials for both planned and unplanned work.
  • Facilitating feedback transfer to the home office.

Your Profile

We are looking for candidates with:

  • At least three years of experience in managing construction or commissioning sites, preferably in gas turbine maintenance.
  • Strong leadership skills with excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • A customer-oriented mindset with proficient negotiation and communication skills.
  • A motivating, reliable, and goal-oriented nature, capable of proactively managing conflicts.
  • A qualified education and relevant professional background in the heavy rotating machinery business.
  • The flexibility and capability to work under pressure, as well as a willingness to travel worldwide.
  • A strong command of written and spoken English.
  • Deadline-driven working methods, along with professional planning, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
