We are seeking a Manufacturing & Supply Chain Operations Lead to serve as the business design authority for the Plan‑to‑Make global process within our ERP business transformation. This role will focus on site-specific manufacturing and supply chain processes while ensuring alignment with global standards and enterprise templates.
You will ensure that end-to-end operational processes are clearly defined, standardized across sites, and embedded within the ERP template to reflect shop-floor realities, planning needs, and biopharma regulatory requirements.
As we evolve from a finance-focused system to a full ERP platform—and transition from SAP to D365 in Bern—you will manage the Manufacturing and Supply Chain project charter, which includes stream planning, roadmap integration, and data readiness for ERP migration (quality KPIs, validation, and business sign-off).
You will collaborate closely with Manufacturing and Supply Chain leadership in Bern, along with local planning, logistics, master data teams, Global Process Owners, Process Managers, and ERP partners to deliver scalable, compliant, and operationally robust solutions.
This role reports to the Head of Digital Transformation, Supply Chain, and is based in Bern/Thörishaus, requiring 2–3 on-site days per week during key phases, with travel between Switzerland and Denmark. This is a project-based assignment for 2–2½ years.
To succeed in this role, you should have a proven track record with substantial experience in process design and standardization across multiple sites. You must possess the ability to bridge business and technology while collaborating with ERP consultants and IT. A deep expertise in ERP platforms (D365 or SAP) and enterprise-wide transformation initiatives is essential. We are looking for candidates with the following background and skills:
This is a unique opportunity to shape the digital future of Bavarian Nordic during a pivotal moment in our transformation journey. You will be at the center of a global ERP rollout and digital innovation agenda—bridging business, IT, and advanced technologies like AI and analytics.
You will work cross-functionally with senior stakeholders, lead strategic pilots, and help develop scalable solutions that support a highly regulated biopharma environment. If you’re passionate about driving real change, influencing enterprise-wide decisions, and future-proofing digital capabilities, this role offers both impact and visibility.
