Job Title: Shopper Project Manager
The Shopper Project Manager is responsible for point-of-sale materials within our global portfolio of brands. This essential role serves as the central hub for coordination between Sazerac Marketing, Sales, Procurement, and External Suppliers. The Project Manager will define and manage the entire process to ensure that all program components are specified, designed, ordered, and delivered on time and within budget. This includes managing durables, equipment, displays, printable POS, wearables, giveaways, and more, while ensuring adherence to brand design guidelines and sales needs.
This position combines strategic project planning, team leadership, and operational oversight to deliver innovative retail experiences. Furthermore, the Program Manager advocates for process improvements and upholds brand standards by leveraging collaboration, problem-solving, and centralized tracking systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a master view of the retail project pipeline, ensuring that milestones, deliverables, and KPIs are on track.
- Identify risks, blockers, and interdependencies early and proactively collaborate with teams to resolve issues.
- Drive accountability across functions to ensure commitments are met.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to prioritize and execute projects aligned with Sazerac's regional growth targets and priority brands.
- Oversee project updates, ensuring that priorities are successfully completed.
- Collaborate with The Shop, Brand, Shopper Marketing, Sales, Procurement, and Supply Chain to ensure alignment and smooth execution of retail projects.
- Act as the central point of contact for retail progress updates.
- Support the integration of retail priorities into channel and customer planning.
- Build clear, repeatable processes for tracking retail programs from concept through commercialization.
- Own the cadence of meetings, reports, and reviews related to retail progress.
- Develop quarterly catalogs, ordering portals, dashboards, scorecards, or trackers that provide leadership visibility into progress and gaps.
- Manage third-party POS production and fulfillment vendors; define deliverables in partnership with brands and internal agencies.
- Facilitate post-launch reviews to capture learnings and improve future programs.
- Serve as a resource for best practices in program and project management.
- Ensure all launches are executed with the highest level of readiness—from sell-in materials to retail execution.
Requirements
MUST
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Strong communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Proven ability to deliver results in a complex, high-growth environment.
- Experience in process design, implementation, and improvement.
- Expertise in both strategic and executional levels.
- Strong organizational skills and capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated success in developing strategic partnerships with various client groups.
- Experience with Agile methodologies such as SCRUM.
- Proficiency in planning and organizational skills.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in implementation or project management.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint.
PREFERRED
- Certification/Qualification in Project Management.
- Familiarity with beverage processing and associated equipment.
- MBA.
- Minimum of 3 years' manufacturing experience in CPG or process industry.
Physical Requirements
Ability to travel (up to 25%).
