Position Overview: Shop Visit Manager - GTF

As a Shop Visit Manager - GTF, you will be responsible for all activities, specifically the on-time delivery of the assigned Shop Visit (SV) in accordance with customer-specific contractual agreements. You will lead the dedicated Engine Team and act as the single point of contact for Senior Leadership regarding all internal SV-related affairs.

Your Tasks

• Lead the Engine Team and set up and execute the assigned SV
• Responsible for all SV relevant deliverables (material, documentation, certification)
• Manage all support function interfaces to optimize resources for the engine maintenance portfolio
• Oversee all required shop visit management process steps and milestones throughout the SV
• Conduct regular SV progress reporting including timely and comprehensive escalation to senior leadership as required
• Drive continuous improvement by supporting root cause analyses (RCA) and activities to further optimize the engine service business

Your Profile

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) and/or a background in Business Administration is desired
• Proven experience in Product/Project Management (5 years)
• Technical skills, preferably in the field of aircraft engines (GTF) business
• Significant understanding of MRO-related operational maintenance activities (5 years)
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a multi-disciplined and cultural environment
• Comfortable speaking in front of a group
• Aptitude for setting precise and realistic targets and driving suitable escalation
• High proficiency in English is mandatory, with a good level of German being desirable
