THE POSITION
The HR Services Specialist provides essential administrative personnel support for employees, managers, and HR Business Partners at Celonic AG throughout the employee lifecycle, from hiring to offboarding. This role encompasses processing employee data and contract changes, managing time tracking and absences, addressing employee inquiries, and maintaining HR databases. The HR Services Specialist also plays a key role in supporting HR policy implementation and process improvements, ensuring compliance with Swiss labor law and internal regulations.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide administrative HR support to employees, managers, and HR Business Partners throughout the employee lifecycle from hiring to offboarding.
- Process changes in employee information, contracts, agreements, and terminations in a timely and compliant manner.
- Handle employee inquiries related to HR services and administration.
- Provide guidance on labor law, tax, and social security matters.
- Support HR Business Partners and managers with case management (e.g., long-term sickness or special personal situations) by providing accurate information and analysis.
- Manage time tracking and absence records in our HR systems.
- Administer and report on employee absences and accidents in collaboration with external partners and Payroll.
- Maintain HR databases to ensure accurate and timely reporting to Finance, Management, and external authorities.
- Support HR policy implementation and process improvements while ensuring compliance with internal policies, legal regulations, and industry best practices.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Qualifications such as Personalassistentin, Personalfachfrau, or a Bachelor's degree in HR or a similar field.
- 3+ years of experience in HR Services or related roles.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office.
- Sound understanding of Swiss Labor Law.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a solution-driven mindset.
- Exceptional administrative and documentation skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
- Independent and proactive work approach with a high level of reliability.
- Fluency in German and a good level of English; additional languages are a plus.
