THE POSITION
The HR Services Specialist provides essential administrative support to employees, managers, and HR Business Partners at Celonic AG throughout the entire employee lifecycle, from hiring to off-boarding. Key responsibilities include processing employee data and contract changes, managing time tracking and absences, handling employee inquiries, and maintaining HR databases. This role also supports the implementation of HR policies and process improvements, ensuring compliance with Swiss labor law and internal regulations.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide administrative HR support throughout the employee lifecycle from hiring to off-boarding.
- Process changes in employee information, contracts, agreements, and terminations efficiently and in compliance with regulations.
- Handle employee inquiries related to HR services and administration.
- Offer guidance on labor law, tax, and social security matters.
- Support HR Business Partners and managers with case management (e.g., long-term sickness or special personal situations), by providing accurate information and analysis.
- Manage time tracking and absence records in our HR systems.
- Oversee the administration and reporting of employee absences and accidents in collaboration with external partners and Payroll.
- Maintain HR databases to ensure accurate and timely reporting to Finance, Management, and external authorities.
- Assist in the implementation of HR policies and process improvements, ensuring compliance with internal policies, legal regulations, and industry best practices.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Personal assistant, HR specialist, Bachelor in HR, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in HR Services or similar roles.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong understanding of Swiss Labor Law.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong customer service orientation with a solution-driven mindset.
- Exceptional administrative and documentation skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and good judgment.
- Independent and proactive work approach with a high level of reliability.
- Fluency in German, with a good command of English; additional languages are a plus.
