About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join and enhance our Service and Support department. In this role, you will be responsible for internal final acceptance, troubleshooting, provisioning, and commissioning of simulators at our clients’ locations.

You will carry out your assigned tasks independently, punctually, and with the highest quality standards. Your strong willingness to travel, excellent communication skills, and solid command of English will round out your profile.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure quality assurance and testing of simulators pre-assembled by the production team; perform checks, tests, and corrective actions until systems are ready for dispatch.
  • Installation and commissioning at customer home bases.
  • Conduct repair work, upgrades, and preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Provide feedback on recurring and new issues to engineering and participate in finding solutions.
  • Collaborate in optimizing lean production processes.
  • Work cooperatively and purposefully with neighboring departments.
  • Assist production during the assembly of electromechanical components according to documentation, meeting deadlines and quality requirements.
  • Execute assigned tasks efficiently.
  • Comply with all applicable standards, laws, and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Completed apprenticeship in a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • High level of flexibility and willingness to travel worldwide (up to 70%).
  • Efficiency-driven character.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong team player with an exploratory mindset.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Fluency in German and English.
