Service Proposal Manager / Service Proposal Manageress

Your Tasks

• Lead the tendering activities for competitive offers for Service Contracts of all types, including long-term maintenance agreements, frame agreements, and upgrades.
• Support the development and alignment of the offer strategy, addressing market and customer considerations alongside other stakeholders, such as the new equipment business and other partner units within the global Ansaldo network.
• Ensure that the offers adhere to Ansaldo guidelines and co-lead the review process.
• Support the negotiation and closing of contracts with customers, while fostering structured and effective market and competitive intelligence.
• Actively contribute to the improvement and maintenance of the processes and tools used within these activities.

Your Profile

• Degree in mechanical engineering and/or business studies, complemented by strong technical understanding.
• 5-10 years of experience in the industrial sector, preferably within the power industry, showcasing a well-proven track record.
• 1-3 years of experience in international tendering or sales.
• Open-minded, eager to learn, and resilient throughout the offer and sales cycle.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel, including short notice trips (approximately 10% of the time).
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Strong commitment to delivering on time and within budget.
• Excellent command of English; proficiency in German and other languages is advantageous, and knowledge of Italian would be an asset.
