Service Engineer Laser

Your Tasks
- Installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of our laser texturing and cutting machines.
- Implementation of retrofits, upgrades, and machine conversions.
- Identification of optimization potential in close collaboration with Development and 2nd Level Support.
- Professional handling, analysis, and documentation of service cases.
- Contribution to the creation, review, and improvement of technical documentation and process descriptions.
- Occasional support with trade fair setup and dismantling.
- Strict adherence to all relevant Advanced Manufacturing safety standards, including particle emissions, laser radiation, contamination control, gas handling, and explosion prevention.
- Support in additional functional roles based on expertise and business needs (e.g., internal trainer, quality initiatives, special technical projects – approximately 10% of working time).
Your Profile
- Successfully completed technical vocational training, ideally complemented by further qualifications as a certified technician.
- Proven experience as a Service Technician in the field of laser machines or comparable high-tech equipment.
- Strong customer focus paired with a structured and independent working style.
- High willingness to travel (up to 90%, within Europe and Switzerland).
- Solid MS Office knowledge and robust PC skills in both hardware and software environments.
- Languages: English (mandatory) AND fluent German or French.
- Strong commitment to delivering outstanding service.
- Reliable and responsible team player.
- Customer-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
- Independent, structured, solution- and goal-oriented approach to work.
