Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team, responsible for the installation, upgrades, and maintenance of DeltaV-Systems, integrated bus systems, intelligent field devices, and third-party systems both in-house and at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation and maintenance for backup systems, antivirus management, and other cybersecurity solutions.
- Create design documents and test procedures for installations in both validated and non-validated environments.
- Provide active support to customers via phone, email, or on-site visits.
- Handle all customer inquiries related to products (hardware and software) or services provided by the Business Units PSS & AO.
- Register and document all customer interactions in the SMS database, analyzing and managing them proactively.
- Escalate issues to specialists in Emerson Support Centres for further investigation, and ensure follow-up until resolution is achieved.
- Deliver active on-site service and maintenance for products or services provided by the Business Units PSS & AO.
- Maintain the Installed System Database.
- Register and monitor service contracts; execute services according to contract specifications and schedules.
- Collaborate with the Desk Sales team on quotations for spare parts, minor expansions, migrations, and upgrades.
- Support the sales team in promoting and renewing service contracts.
- Provide information and technical insights to the Field Sales team.
- Facilitate the transfer of technical knowledge within the Service and Engineering department.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Service Manager.
- Adhere to the “Trade Compliance Screening” procedure.
- Ensure completion of all required training and certifications as mandated by the service organization.
