Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team, responsible for the installation, upgrades, and maintenance of DeltaV Systems, integrated Bus systems, intelligent field devices, and third-party systems. This role may involve working both in-house and at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage installation and maintenance for backup systems, antivirus management, and other cybersecurity solutions.
- Create design documents and test procedures for various installations in both validated and non-validated environments.
- Provide active support to customers through phone, email, or on-site assistance.
- Handle all customer inquiries related to products (hardware and software) or services provided by the Business Units PSS & AO.
- Register and document all customer interactions in the SMS database, analyzing and managing them proactively.
- Escalate issues to specialists in Emerson Support Centres when necessary and follow up until solutions are implemented.
- Deliver on-site service and maintenance for products and services offered by the Business Units PSS & AO.
- Maintain the Installed System Database and monitor service contracts.
- Execute services in accordance with contracts and scheduled timings.
- Collaborate with the Desk Sales team on quotations for spare parts, minor expansions, migrations, and upgrades.
- Support the sales team in selling and renewing service contracts.
- Provide valuable information and technical insights to the Field Sales team.
- Facilitate the transfer of technical knowledge within the Service and Engineering department.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Service Manager.
- Adhere to the “Trade Compliance Screening” procedure.
- Stay up-to-date on all required training and certifications as mandated by the service organization.
