Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be tasked with various duties related to the installation, maintenance, and client support for DeltaV systems and associated technologies. Responsibilities include:
- Performing all necessary tasks for the installation, upgrades, and maintenance of DeltaV systems, integrated Bus systems, intelligent field devices, and third-party systems, both in-house and at customer sites.
- Installing and maintaining backup systems, antivirus management, and other cybersecurity solutions.
- Creating detailed design documents and test procedures for installations in both validated and non-validated environments.
- Offering active support to customers via phone, email, or on-site visits.
- Handling all customer inquiries related to hardware and software products or services delivered by the Business Units PSS & AO.
- Registering and documenting all customer interactions in the SMS database, actively analyzing and managing them.
- If required, escalating issues to specialists in Emerson Support Centres for further investigation, and following up until a solution is implemented.
- Providing proactive on-site service and maintenance for products or services delivered by the Business Units PSS & AO.
- Maintaining the Installed System Database accurately.
- Registering and monitoring service contracts; executing services in accordance with contract terms and schedules.
- Collaborating with the Desk Sales team on quotations for spare parts, minor expansions, migrations, and upgrades.
- Actively supporting the sales team in promoting and renewing service contracts.
- Providing technical information and insights to the Field Sales team.
- Ensuring the transfer of technical knowledge within the Service and Engineering department.
- Performing additional responsibilities as assigned by the Service Manager.
- Adhering to the "Trade Compliance Screening" procedure diligently.
- Following up on all required training and certifications as dictated by the service organization.
