Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team, responsible for the installation, upgrades, and maintenance of DeltaV-Systems and all integrated Bus systems, as well as intelligent field devices and third-party systems, either in-house or at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all necessary tasks for the installation and maintenance of backup systems, antivirus management, and other cyber security solutions.
- Create design documents and test procedures for installations in both validated and non-validated environments.
- Provide active support to customers via phone, email, or at customer locations.
- Address all customer inquiries related to hardware (HW), software (SW), or services provided by the Business Units PSS & AO.
- Register and document all customer inquiries in the SMS database, actively analyzing and managing them.
- If necessary, escalate problems to specialists in Emerson Support Centres for further investigation and ensure follow-up until issues are resolved.
- Deliver active on-site service and maintenance for products or services from the Business Units PSS & AO.
- Maintain the Installed System Database.
- Register and monitor service contracts, executing services according to contract specifications and schedules.
- Collaborate with the Desk Sales team on quotations for spare parts, minor expansions, migrations, and upgrades.
- Support the sales team in promoting and renewing service contracts.
- Provide information and technical input to the Field Sales team.
- Ensure the transfer of technical knowledge within the Service and Engineering department.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Service Manager.
- Adhere to the “Trade Compliance Screening” procedure.
- Follow up on all training and certifications as required by the service organization.
