Job Position: Service Business Project Manager S/4HANA (m/f/d)
As the Service Business Project Manager S/4HANA, you will drive and coordinate cross-functional service operations and ERP initiatives within the S/4HANA FLASH Team and the broader Global Service Operations landscape. You will lead and support ERP and process improvement projects across service operations, including regulatory and localization initiatives. This role involves working closely with Global Process Owners (GPOs) and application teams to ensure successful project outcomes. You will report to the Team Lead & Service Business Process Manager (S/4HANA) and be part of the S/4HANA FLASH Team, based in Baden, Switzerland.
Your Responsibilities
- S/4HANA Project Management & E-Invoicing Enablement:
- Lead small- to medium-sized continuous improvement, localization, and regulatory projects within the global Service Operations S/4HANA environment.
- Support cross-functional ERP initiatives such as tax reforms, organizational changes, and company code implementations for successful operational integration.
- Facilitate the operational rollout and stabilization of E-Invoicing processes, especially within the Order-to-Cash area, aligned with the Global E-Invoicing & Digital Tax Manager's strategy.
- Coordinate rollout activities with countries and stakeholders, tracking readiness, testing, and post-go-live follow-up in collaboration with IT, GPOs, and business stakeholders.
- Identify improvement opportunities across service processes, driving change requests and contributing to sustainable process optimization.
- Work closely with GPOs, Group Tax, Finance, IT, and the service network to ensure alignment with global standards.
- User Access & Test Management Governance:
- Own and refine User Access Management processes for the Service SAP S/4HANA landscape, ensuring compliance with defined procedures and security policies.
- Define and govern the global User Access Management operating model for Service S/4HANA.
- Coordinate role governance and access-related activities across the Service organization, ensuring consistency and quick resolution of access issues.
- Implement and improve a compliant test management framework, including user acceptance and regression testing for SAP S/4HANA releases.
- Define and monitor relevant KPIs, driving remediation actions based on feedback and identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
- Functionally manage test coordination and user access management specialists within the central operations team, ensuring effective governance and knowledge sharing.
Your Background
- University degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management, operational excellence, and process improvement methodologies.
- Strong ERP knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, with hands-on experience in SD, PS, and EPPM; familiarity with Microsoft CRM is a plus.
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA User Access Management, including role design and access governance.
- Analytical mindset with a structured approach, capable of driving topics independently while collaborating within cross-functional teams.
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders across various countries and effective communication at all levels of the organization.
- Preferred background in commercial operations, service business support, or service coordination.
- International business experience with strong intercultural competence.
- Language skills: English (C1 or above required); German (B2 or above preferred).
- Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 5–10%).
