Position Overview: Service Business Project Manager S/4HANA (m/f/d)
As the Service Business Project Manager S/4HANA, you will play a pivotal role in driving and coordinating cross-functional service operations and ERP initiatives within the S/4HANA FLASH Team and the broader Global Service Operations landscape. In this position, you will lead and support ERP and process improvement projects, including important regulatory and localization initiatives. You will work closely with Global Process Owners (GPOs) and application teams, while maintaining governance over Service S/4HANA User Access Management (UAM). This position is based in Baden, Switzerland.
Your Responsibilities:
- S/4HANA Project Management & E-Invoicing Enablement:
- Lead small- to medium-sized continuous improvement, localization, and regulatory projects within the global Service Operations S/4HANA environment.
- Support initiatives such as tax reforms, organizational changes, and company code implementations, ensuring successful operational integration and adoption.
- Coordinate the rollout and stabilization of E-Invoicing processes within the Order-to-Cash area, in alignment with strategies defined by the Global E-Invoicing & Digital Tax Manager.
- Engage with various stakeholders to ensure successful rollout activities, testing coordination, and post-go-live follow-up.
- Identify and drive improvement opportunities across service processes and S/4HANA operations.
- Collaborate with Global Process Owners, Group Tax, Finance, IT, and the service network to ensure alignment with global standards.
- User Access & Test Management Governance:
- Manage and improve User Access Management processes to ensure compliance with procedures and security policies.
- Define and oversee the governance of the global User Access Management operating model for Service S/4HANA.
- Coordinate access-related activities and ensure consistent execution across the Service organization.
- Develop an audit-compliant test management framework, covering user acceptance and regression testing for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud releases.
- Monitor KPIs and drive remediation actions based on audit findings and feedback.
- Functionally manage test coordination and user access specialists within the central operations team.
Your Background:
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in project management, operational excellence, process improvement, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong ERP knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, with hands-on experience in SD, PS, and EPPM; Microsoft CRM experience is advantageous.
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA User Access Management, including role design and access governance implementation.
- Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to work, with the ability to drive projects independently while collaborating effectively.
- Experience communicating with senior stakeholders across multiple countries.
- Experience in commercial operations or service business support is a plus.
- International business experience with strong intercultural competence.
- Fluency in English (C1 or above required); knowledge of German (B2 or above) is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 5–10%).
