We are seeking a motivated and service-oriented professional to join the Rosenberg Team and contribute to the daily dining experience of our boarding school community.
Your Tasks
Responsibilities typically include:
- Mise en place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service
- Professional table service during meals in a boarding-school setting
- Service during formal meals and exclusive school events, requiring discretion and elegance
- Maintaining consistently high service standards across all meals
- Cleaning, resetting, and maintaining dining and service areas after each service
- Working under the direction of Dining Hall Supervisors and adhering to established service procedures
- Supporting smooth service flow in a structured yet fast-paced environment
- Demonstrating teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail at all times
- Working up to 10 hours per day
- Working five days per week, up to a maximum of 50 hours
Requirements
We are particularly interested in candidates who:
- Have previous experience in hospitality or dining service, ideally within fine dining, hotels, or institutional catering.
- Demonstrate a strong sense of service etiquette, presentation, and elegance suitable for a formal boarding-school environment.
- Are energetic, well-organized, and capable of working with precision and consistency.
- Are flexible, open-minded, and able to work independently within clear structures.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and personal professionalism.
- Perform effectively during busy service periods while remaining calm and courteous.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and a clear commitment to teamwork.
- Show genuine interest in cultural diversity and working in an international community.
- Are fluent in English.
- Are resident in Switzerland, hold a valid Swiss work permit, or are citizens of EU/EFTA member states.
- Are available to work split shifts.
- Demonstrate alignment with the values, ethos, and standards of Institut auf dem Rosenberg.
