Role Overview
As a Senior Underwriter for Long-Tailed Lines, you will be instrumental in driving business growth by:
- Acquiring and managing reinsurance business
- Conducting market analysis and engaging with targeted clients
- Building and maintaining long-term client relationships
- Developing risk transfer solutions that align with company strategy
- Assessing business opportunities for profitability and suitability
- Collaborating closely with internal and external partners
- Systematically administering and maintaining business documentation
- Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and procedures
- Actively participating in digitalization initiatives
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- 5-7 years of experience in reinsurance as an underwriter
- A university degree in actuarial science, mathematics, economics, or a related field
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with reinsurance pricing tools or models
- A proactive mindset, team spirit, and a structured approach to problem-solving
- Fluency in English; German is a plus
