THE ROLE
The Senior Manager, Global Trade Marketing for Clairol, reporting to the Senior Director for Global Clairol Marketing, will be responsible for driving global portfolio operations related to the commercial and go-to-market strategy for the Clairol brand. The role emphasizes excellence in go-to-market activation and requires strong collaboration with cross-functional partners, including Global Brand Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams, along with Regional and Local Market Teams. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment where accountability and ambition converge with a passion for achieving results collaboratively.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Global Clairol Portfolio 3-Year Innovation Master Plan.
- Identify global portfolio expansion and harmonization opportunities, along with a comprehensive plan of action.
- Shape and lead the implementation of the channel growth strategy across the portfolio.
- Oversee deployment and follow-through of channel needs and global brand implementation.
- Lead the Clairol brand pricing architecture and strategy.
- Assist in creating the annual Clairol Global Success Model.
- Collaborate with regional channel teams on new channel portfolio expansion plans.
- Develop the commercial strategy and provide sales fundamentals guidance for Clairol’s Innovation Masterplan.
- Contribute to innovation and ongoing business analysis, ensuring effective learning and tracking across channels and regions.
- Support critical projects, including Visual Merchandising guidance and Portfolio Optimization.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4-5 years of experience in Global/Regional Commercial Roles in the FMCG Industry, with at least 3 years in Global Trade Marketing. Experience in the Beauty/Hair Industry is preferred.
- A strong track record in autonomous problem-solving and business analysis.
- Exceptional commercial acumen and numeracy skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Strong external focus, keeping in touch with industry trends and retailers.
- Ability to influence key partners across regions and cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Regional or Local Teams is advantageous.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in another language is a plus.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Science, or a similar discipline is required; an MBA is preferred.
