As a Manager in our growing business tax team, you will provide tax technology advisory and implementation services to our clients. You will work on global engagements, collaborating with your team to offer international organizations leading services in global tax technology. Your main focus will be on addressing technology for direct tax process challenges, including tax accounting, BEPS 2.0 / Pillar 2 (“GloBE”), and direct tax compliance, ultimately enabling our clients to navigate the evolving Swiss and international tax landscape successfully.

How You Can Make an Impact

• Work with your team to develop best-practice solutions and support our clients in analyzing and implementing processes to address GloBE challenges.
• Utilize your knowledge of Deloitte’s Pillar Two Agent to advise clients and implement solutions tailored to their specific needs.
• Deliver client demonstrations of Deloitte’s Pillar Two Agent tool and other GloBE, tax provision, and automation technologies.
• Train your team to conduct live software demonstrations.
• Understand and respond to client needs to provide appropriate tax technology and process advice.
• Take a pragmatic approach to solving client problems in tax technology, particularly related to GloBE challenges.
• Coordinate and supervise international teams on tax technology implementations, managing client demands while maintaining an overview of project status and requirements.
• Incorporate input from subject matter experts to offer the best advice to our clients.
• Advise clients on enhancing their operational strategies, tax functions, processes, and risk management.
• Support our clients and teams in transitioning to the digital age, staying up to date with innovations in tax technologies.

Who We Are Looking For

• Proven experience in data transformation, including building extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes, data transformation pipelines, and APIs.
• Experience presenting to clients and leading technical discussions on global tax tools, including customizing solutions to client-specific requirements.
• Experience in developing tax technology solutions, including gathering and implementing client requirements and change requests.
• Proficiency in automation tools such as Alteryx, Excel VBA, Power Query, as well as programming in Python or SQL, particularly for manipulating large data sets to build client solutions.
• Experience supporting bids and proposals within a client advisory team.
• Agile, Lean, and/or Scrum experience is preferred.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of German or French is advantageous but not mandatory.
