Role and Responsibilities
- Work on technical product development for new drone models.
- Enhance and develop drone avionics, flight controls, electro-mechanical actuation, signal processing, and automation.
- Assume responsibility for system design.
- Maintain technical documentation.
- Create technical specifications, configurations, and wiring diagrams.
- Assemble components and systems.
- Integrate components within the aircraft and its electrical systems.
- Conduct software integration and configuration.
- Test the complete drone system.
- Perform root cause problem-solving.
- Manage avionics components and system suppliers.
- Enhance SwissDrones processes and procedures.
Your Ideal Profile
- A technical higher education in fields like avionics engineering, aerospace engineering, systems engineering, or electrical engineering.
- Experience in hardware integration and specification related to flight control and electro-mechanical actuation for aerospace avionics.
- Experience in software integration and specification for signal processing and automation in aerospace avionics.
- A background in testing and root cause problem-solving for hardware and software components.
- A high degree of flexibility, thriving in a dynamic and growing company.
- A willingness to improve company procedures and processes.
- Proficiency in English at C1 level (Advanced).
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with one of the major CAD programs.
- Proficiency in German at B2 level (Upper Intermediate).
