Role and Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the technical product development of our new drone
  • Enhance and develop drone avionics, flight controls, electro-mechanical actuation, signal processing, and automation
  • Assume system design responsibility
  • Create technical documentation
  • Develop technical specifications, configurations, and wiring diagrams
  • Assemble components and systems
  • Integrate components into the aircraft and its electrical system
  • Handle software integration and configuration
  • Test the complete drone system
  • Identify and resolve root causes of problems
  • Manage avionics components and system suppliers
  • Improve SwissDrones processes and procedures

Your Ideal Profile

  • Technical higher education (e.g., avionics engineering, aerospace engineering, systems engineering, or electrical engineering)
  • Work experience in hardware integration and specifications of flight control and electro-mechanical actuation for Aerospace Avionics
  • Experience in software integration and specifications of signal processing and automation in Aerospace Avionics
  • Proven track record in testing and root cause problem solving for hardware and software components
  • High degree of flexibility and ability to thrive in a dynamic, growing company
  • Willingness to enhance company procedures and processes
  • English proficiency: C1 – Advanced

Nice-to-Haves

  • Familiarity with one of the major CAD programs
  • German proficiency: B2 – Upper Intermediate
