Senior Strategic Account Manager

We are seeking a Senior Strategic Account Manager to join our sales team, drive market expansion, and deliver innovative surgical solutions to our customers. Roles & Responsibilities

  • Strategic Account Management is an essential part of our future business strategy and critical to our growth plans. This approach will demonstrate the long-term value of partnerships and our impact on patient care.
  • You will report to the Lead of Strategic Account Management for the One MedTech Group, developing mutually beneficial long-term partnerships with both clinical and non-clinical partners across designated key accounts.
  • In conjunction with the Business Units, you will develop and lead the account strategy to drive profitable sales and market share growth within hospitals, hospital groups, and group purchasing organizations.
  • Collaborating with our franchises' clinical teams (Surgery, Orthopaedics, Cardiovascular), you will coordinate the proposal development process, presenting opportunities and risks along with their implications to the management levels required.
  • As the key driver of Johnson & Johnson MedTech Switzerland’s Value-Based Health Care Strategy, you will lead negotiations for commercial agreements and ensure their execution across care centers in partnership with Business Units and Shared Functions (Pricing, Services & Solutions, HEMA, etc.).
  • You will represent Johnson & Johnson MedTech and its franchises in strategic account partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or a relevant field is an advantage.
  • Several years of clinical experience in a Sales Manager or Key Account Manager role with a proven track record in managing non-clinical partnerships.
  • A deep understanding of the healthcare market and the local regulatory/policy environment, adept at identifying short and long-term business factors.
  • Experience in contract negotiations and deal structuring.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in German; strong English skills (both written and spoken) are required; proficiency in a second official language is preferred.
  • French language skills are a plus.
  • Strong negotiation skills, high self-confidence, courage, and conviction.
  • Analytical and strategic thinker with solid business acumen.
  • Project management capabilities with the ability to lead complex initiatives involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong team spirit and collaborative mindset.
