Our client operates at the forefront of national security space and is seeking a Senior C&DH Engineer to serve as the primary technical authority for the electrical hardware and avionics systems that are integral to their spacecraft. If you possess the expertise to own complex architectures and the leadership skills to guide multiple programs and stakeholders, this role offers significant opportunities for impact.
You will spearhead the design and architecture of C&DH subsystems, ensuring they meet mission requirements while effectively balancing performance, power, mass, and cost. This involves leading trade studies and make/buy analyses, managing interface control documents, directing high-fidelity analyses on data budgets, signal integrity, EMI/EMC, and clock behavior. You will also be responsible for resolving complex technical issues throughout integration and testing phases. Additionally, you will contribute to FDIR strategies and provide invaluable technical expertise to mission operations. At Level 5, the scope expands to defining the long-term technical roadmap for the C&DH group and mentoring the next generation of engineers across various programs.
