About the Role
Albatross AI is a leading AI Software Engineering Company that specializes in real-time discovery and search through live user interactions. We are currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer to build and maintain scalable backend services while delivering high-impact systems. This role calls for deep expertise in distributed systems architecture and hands-on leadership of complex technical initiatives in a data-intensive fintech environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Go, Node.js (TypeScript), Rust, Python, and WebAssembly (WASM).
- Own the system architecture, including microservices, asynchronous integrations, and ETL pipelines.
- Implement complex business and data-processing logic, such as accounting workflows, reporting systems, and financial software integrations.
- Enhance system performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with the CTO, product, and customer-facing teams on solution design.
- Mentor engineers and establish backend engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of software engineering experience.
- Proven expertise in backend development with Go, Node.js, Rust, Python, and WASM.
- Deep experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and data pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and production deployments.
- Demonstrated capability to lead technical initiatives from start to finish.
- Experience with accounting or financial software systems.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken at C1 level or higher).
