Your Mission

As a Senior SEO Manager, you will be responsible for driving organic growth from Search Engines and AI Search Interfaces across multiple SMG business units, including Real Estate, Automotive, General Marketplaces, and Finance. You won't merely optimize pages; you'll help shape product features, scalable landing page systems, and platform capabilities that foster long-term organic growth in the platforms our users utilize. You will act as a critical link between Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Data, ensuring that SEO becomes an integrated part of our product development process. Your goal is to convert user demand into scalable platform growth.

What You Will Do

  • Growth & Strategy
    • Own and execute Roadmap Initiatives.
    • Translate search demand into product initiatives and growth opportunities.
    • Plan initiatives based on hypotheses, impact estimation, and ROI potential.
    • Identify scalable growth levers such as indexation, internal linking, landing page generation, and content systems.
    • Adapt strategies based on user behavior across different search and discovery platforms.
  • Product-Led SEO
    • Collaborate closely with Product Managers to integrate SEO into product development.
    • Define SEO requirements for new features and scalable platform capabilities across SMG’s portfolio.
    • Build frameworks that facilitate growth beyond manual optimizations.
    • Educate teams on the importance of SEO, focusing on both implementation and strategic thinking.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Serve as a trusted advisor for Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams.
    • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Drive alignment and project ownership across various teams.
  • Data & Experimentation
    • Formulate hypotheses and validate them with data.
    • Monitor performance and iterate based on insights and learnings.
    • Measure success through business impact rather than vanity metrics.
    • Collaborate with analysts and engineers to enhance tracking and reporting.

Qualifications

What Will You Bring to the Ride?

  • 5+ years of SEO experience with large websites (marketplaces, classifieds, real estate, or platforms).
  • Experience working with Product teams in agile environments.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder communication.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Capability to plan initiatives supported by business impact estimates.
  • Hands-on knowledge of technical SEO, including crawling, indexing, and rendering.
  • A proactive, ownership-driven attitude.
  • A growth mindset and a strong curiosity for experimentation.
  • Fluency in English.

Bonus

  • Experience in Product-Led SEO.
  • Experience with large-scale landing page systems.
  • Background in marketplaces or classifieds.
  • Experience with AI search and GEO strategies.
