Our Facility

Our state-of-the-art multi-purpose manufacturing facility is designed for large-scale production of biologics and offers significant expansion potential. Upon the completion of construction activities, our site in Lengnau will provide highly flexible biomanufacturing technologies, from development to large-scale production, incorporating stainless steel equipment to meet diverse customer needs.

Job Opportunity: Senior Scientist Quality Assurance Qualification

We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Scientist in Quality Assurance Qualification to join our dynamic team in Lengnau. As a global leader in scientific research and innovation, we are committed to empowering our customers to enhance global health, cleanliness, and safety. We are looking for an ambitious individual with proven experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment and a strong background in Engineering or Life Sciences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to oversee GMP aspects of qualification activities, ensuring the delivery of exceptional facilities, utilities, and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP regulatory expectations during qualification activities.
  • Document qualification activities in alignment with GMP standards.
  • Assess and manage issues related to qualification, working closely with Manufacturing, QC, Engineering, and relevant departments.
  • Continuously enhance quality standards for assigned quality systems and manufacturing areas.
  • Prepare and approve documentation related to quality systems, ensuring compliant manufacturing of pharmaceutical products.
  • Support internal and external inspections and work towards closing identified gaps.
  • Drive knowledge management and promote continuous improvement processes within the department.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, etc.) or equivalent.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in working with multicultural and cross-disciplinary project teams.
  • Strong organization, planning, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Language: Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is preferable.
