As part of the Research Center in Switzerland, our Future Storage Group is at the cutting edge of innovation in storage and memory systems, exploring the crucial intersection of these technologies. Our mission is to design the next generation of storage systems to meet the demands of future applications.

Position: Senior Researcher in DPU and Embedded Systems

Our team is expanding, and we are in search of a high-caliber Senior Researcher in DPU and Embedded Systems. In this role, you will engage in cutting-edge research, developing next-generation prototypes where computing and storage converge, aiming to redefine high-performance, distributed storage and memory systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct original research to conceptualize and design pioneering technologies for compute and storage systems, leveraging advancements such as ultra-low-latency storage and high-speed interconnects.
  • Design and prototype scalable, high-performance architectures for distributed memory, ensuring seamless integration with emerging storage mediums and acceleration technologies.
  • Strategically collaborate with academic partners, drive intellectual property initiatives, and shape our technology roadmap to maintain a competitive edge in high-impact research domains.
  • Publish high-quality research in top-tier conferences and journals, contributing to the broader research community and advancing knowledge in the field.

Qualifications

  • MSc or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields with a robust engineering background in systems and/or storage.
  • Experience with interconnects for AI datacenter.
  • Proficiency in the Linux storage and memory stack.
  • 5+ years of experience with embedded systems.
  • 3+ years of experience with DPUs.
