Position Available: (Senior) Research Scientist in Computing Systems (OS, Storage and Memory)

We are seeking a high-caliber (Senior) Research Scientist to lead cutting-edge research efforts in developing next-generation prototypes where compute and storage converge, redefining high-performance, distributed storage, and memory systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct original research to conceptualize and design pioneering technologies for Compute and Storage Systems, leveraging advancements such as ultra-low-latency storage and high-speed interconnects.
  • Design and prototype scalable, high-performance architectures for distributed memory, ensuring seamless integration with emerging storage mediums and acceleration technologies.
  • Collaborate strategically with academic partners, drive intellectual property initiatives, and shape our technology roadmap to maintain a competitive edge in high-impact research domains.
  • Publish high-quality research in top-tier conferences and journals, contributing to the broader research community and advancing knowledge in the field.

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. or MSc in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields with a strong research background in systems and/or storage.
  • Proven research experience in OS, high-performance storage, or data infrastructure, with publications or patents in relevant areas.
  • Familiarity with server CPU architectures and memory/storage technologies.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work in interdisciplinary research teams.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, with a strong ability to convey complex research ideas effectively.
