Your Mission

Job Description

  • Data Analysis and Reliability Modelling: Ensure the development of reliable DAC products by defining test campaigns, analyzing data across multiple facilities, and establishing new standards in data analysis to support validation and testing efforts.
  • Methodology Development and Training: Establish new data analysis methodologies and train colleagues to apply these techniques effectively in ongoing and future test campaigns.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate closely with validation and testing engineers to understand their campaigns, support experimental design, and advise on optimal data collection strategies.
  • Testing Campaign Management: Manage testing campaigns end-to-end, including test design, planning, progress tracking, reporting, and communicating results to ensure high-quality, actionable outcomes.
  • Communication and Presentation: Clearly communicate technical results and findings to peers and present analyses during technical reviews.

Your Story

Requirements

  • Experience and Expertise: A Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years of experience in a testing environment; a combination of proactive engineering skills alongside a strong computational and statistical background.
  • Data Analysis and Reliability Modelling Knowledge: Hands-on experience in mechanical lifetime and fatigue testing, airflow and pressure drop testing, and environmental survivability testing; skilled in building statistical models (e.g., Weibull) for predicting component failure modes and lifetimes.
  • Testing Campaign Management Experience: Proven ability to lead test campaigns from goal definition and protocol creation to final reporting and results communication.
  • Software Skills: Proficient in data analysis and visualization using platforms such as Python, Seeq, and Grafana, with a commitment to developing traceable and well-documented analysis tools.
  • Collaboration and Working Style: A collaborative team player who combines innovation with a structured, methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
