We Are Looking For
Senior React Frontend Developer (full-time, onsite in St. Gallen)
This role is perfect for an individual eager to contribute to LocalBini’s IT transformation. You will primarily focus on developing and maintaining the front-end component of an application built on a microservices architecture hosted on AWS. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Developing front-end features using React.js technology
- Writing tests (unit and end-to-end) to ensure code quality
- Facilitating a seamless transition during the application transformation process
You will collaborate within a cross-functional team overseeing the entire software development life cycle, from conception to deployment, working alongside our developers based in Poznan, Łódź, and Warsaw.
Our front-end technology stack includes: React.js (version 17, fully leveraging React hooks), React Router, Redux Toolkit, Styled Components, TypeScript, CI/CD (GitLab pipelines), Git hooks, Jest, React Testing Library, ESLint, and Prettier.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with the existing remote development team and the St. Gallen business team to devise comprehensive software solutions.
- Engage in idea exchanges with our UI/UX designer.
- Develop logic and user interfaces for the front-end application using React.js.
- Create unit and end-to-end tests with Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress.js.
- Optimize the application for mobile devices and ensure responsive web design.
- Document technical specifications thoroughly.
- Work in partnership with data scientists and analysts to enhance the user experience on LocalBini.
- Integrate with external systems, such as Google Analytics.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience with React.js and its ecosystem.
- Proficient skills in our technology stack: React.js, Styled Components, REST API, and AWS.
- Strong understanding of Redux (with Redux Toolkit) and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience in effective platform testing, particularly end-to-end testing using Cypress.js.
- Fluency in English.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with Flutter.
- Experience with Figma.
