Your Mission

As a member of our team, you will take ownership of quality assurance and control processes for sorbent materials in a fast-paced, scaling environment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Quality Ownership & Purpose: Ensure robust quality control and assurance, delivering compliant outcomes and reliable product decisions.
  • Quality Control Execution: Plan and coordinate QC campaigns, oversee measurements, and maintain accurate documentation in SAP QM.
  • Quality Assurance Ownership: Manage deviations and change controls, conduct root cause analyses, and prepare for QC audits.
  • QC Process Improvement & Risk Management: Identify bottlenecks, propose lean improvements, and contribute to the maintenance of LIMS and SAP QM.
  • Interfaces & Collaboration: Serve as the QC technical interface with suppliers and manufacturers, supporting procurement and plant requirements.
  • Decision Rights: Decide on QC record content and investigation strategies, recommend actions to improve compliance, and escalate issues as necessary.

Your Story

We are looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:

  • Educational Background: A degree in Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry; an advanced degree is a plus.
  • Industry Experience: A minimum of five years in industries such as specialty chemicals, polymers, resins, or advanced materials manufacturing.
  • Analytical Expertise: Proficient in material characterization and release testing methods.
  • Method Validation and Data Integrity: Skilled in validating and verifying methods, ensuring data integrity across all operations.
  • Quality Systems and Documentation: Experienced in creating and maintaining inspection-ready documentation and operating within ISO frameworks.
  • Supplier and Manufacturer Audits: Familiar with planning and conducting audits, assessing quality systems, and driving corrective actions.
  • Digital Tools and Collaboration: Proficient in LIMS and SAP QM for sample management and documentation.
  • Communication: Able to communicate effectively and clearly in English.

Formalities:

This position is based in Opfikon, Zurich, with an expectation to work onsite at least three days per week. You may choose between full-time or part-time arrangements based on your preferences.
