Join Our Team as a Senior Quality Management Expert
Global Production & Supply Chain Spouts is responsible for the worldwide production of innovative plastic closures for our carton packaging used in beverages and liquid foods. Our production occurs in large series on high-performance injection molding machines.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the quality and product safety management systems for GP Spouts, including planning, organization, conducting, documenting, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct internal and external audits (for customers, re-certifications) and follow up on corresponding audit findings.
- Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for managing customer inquiries and facilitating communication with spout producers regarding quality-related topics.
- Support the maintenance of GFSI recognized standards for spout manufacturers, including plant Neuhausen, while coaching and supporting the Product Safety Management Officer.
- Collaborate with the EHS representative (e.g., ISO 14001:2015) to develop policies, procedures, and methods that improve the management system.
Your Skills, Experience & Education
- Academic degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or Chemistry.
- Certified Quality Lead Auditor (ISO and/or BRC).
- Significant experience in the food or food packaging industry, particularly in:
- Food safety compliance (especially concerning plastics, paper & cardboard, or coatings in consumer goods).
- Analytical methods and quality systems.
- Implementation and supervision of prerequisite programs (e.g., GHP, GMP, GSP).
- Food contact packaging or food production.
- Risk analysis, assessment, and management (HACCP, VACCP, TACCP).
- Strong knowledge of international food safety standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent command of English; able to act as a global partner and communicator.
- Basic knowledge of German, with a willingness to improve (position is based in Switzerland).
