Join Our Team as a Senior Quality Management Expert
Global Production & Supply Chain Spouts is responsible for the worldwide production of innovative plastic closures for carton packaging, catering to beverages and liquid foods. Our production takes place using high-performance injection molding machines in large series.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the quality and product safety management systems for GP Spouts, including planning, organizing, conducting, documenting, and continuously improving.
Conduct internal and external audits (customer, re-certifications) and follow up on corresponding audit findings.
Act as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for managing customer inquiries and communicating with spout producers on quality-related topics.
Support the maintenance of GFSI recognized standards for spout manufacturers, including our plant in Neuhausen, and coach the Product Safety Management Officer at this location.
Collaborate with the EHS representative (e.g., ISO 14001:2015) to develop policies, procedures, and methods that enhance the management system.
Skills, Experience & Education Required:
Academic degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or Chemistry.
Certified Quality Lead Auditor (ISO and/or BRC).
Extensive experience in the food or food packaging industry, particularly in:
Food safety compliance, especially concerning plastics, paper & cardboard, or paints in consumer goods.
Analytical methods and quality systems.
Implementation and oversight of prerequisite programs (e.g., GHP, GMP, GSP).
Food contact packaging or food production.
Risk analysis, assessment, and management (HACCP, VACCP, TACCP).
Strong knowledge of international food safety standards and regulatory frameworks.
Excellent command of English with the ability to function as a global partner and communicator.
Basic knowledge of German, with a willingness to improve (position is based in Switzerland).
