To support our growing client and project base, we are looking to expand our team in Spreitenbach.

Position: Project Engineer

As a Project Engineer at SpectraFlow Analytics, you will be responsible for the commissioning of our online analyzer solutions along with the associated control software for a global customer base in the cement and mining industry. The relationship with our clients extends beyond the initial commissioning phase, encompassing ongoing support, addressing client inquiries and concerns, evaluating performance, and identifying necessary services or components.

What to Expect from the Job:

  • Commission our NIR online analyzers onsite in coordination with the client’s team.
  • Commission expert systems to control the process.
  • Act as the first point of contact for your assigned clients, providing training and support in the use of the analyzer and addressing service requests.
  • Collect and clarify reference samples for calibration.
  • Conduct acceptance tests.
  • Be an active and solution-oriented participant in project management.
  • Support our After Sales Team to proactively review and enhance customer satisfaction.

What You Should Bring:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a process engineer in cement or mining on the plant.
  • Multiple years of experience in commissioning analytical systems at clients’ sites.
  • Experience in programming PLCs and connecting them to control systems using OPC/fieldbus.
  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux-based embedded systems.
  • Experience with near-infrared real-time measurement systems.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with advanced process control software.
  • Willingness to travel internationally to remote sites.
  • A structured and organized work ethic with a proven ability to manage and document action-oriented tasks effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex topics to diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • A proactive, results-oriented approach, capable of motivating teams and driving project success.
  • Fluency in English and one additional language (written and spoken).
