Your Role and Responsibilities

You will be part of an international project and commissioning team dedicated to providing control systems for high-power rectifiers to our clients in the Aluminum, Arc Furnace, and Chemical industries. We are looking for candidates who can leverage their academic background and work experience in power electronic control systems, along with practical commissioning experience.

You Will Be Mainly Accountable For:

  • Developing and engineering tailored industrial systems, including electrical schematics, customer-specific software (PLC), and system testing, while ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  • Managing the technical and commercial aspects of high-power rectifier systems (up to 100 kA/2000 V), including detailed engineering, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance globally.
  • Collaborating with customers and suppliers to verify technical solutions, address issues, and conduct customer training.
  • Contributing to new product development projects and supporting innovation initiatives.

Qualifications for the Role

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, along with several years of experience in engineering and commissioning of High Power Rectifier Systems.
  • Proficient in E-CAD (E3 – Zuken) and PLC programming (AC 800PEC, Allen-Bradley, and ABB Panel 800 series), with a strong affinity for IT (hardware, software, and protocols).
  • A strong focus on safe work practices and a dedication to adhering to all relevant workplace safety guidelines.
  • A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and a desire to learn about new technologies.
  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach with strong written and spoken communication skills.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in German or any additional language is an asset.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (30%-40%).
