Job Summary

In line with our ongoing growth, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Manager to spearhead our strategic sourcing and procurement operations, particularly focusing on electronic components and supply chain optimization. As a Senior Procurement Manager, you will join an interdisciplinary team responsible for sourcing and managing materials, goods, and electronic components in support of our operational and business objectives.

You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to develop and implement procurement strategies that optimize cost, quality, and efficiency. Your role will involve leading supplier negotiations, managing contracts, and ensuring supply chain resilience, all while leveraging ERP systems and data-driven insights to enhance procurement performance.

As a proactive and analytical team player, you will be committed to driving continuous improvement and developing innovative sourcing solutions. You are goal-oriented, well-organized, and comfortable working independently in dynamic environments, adept at balancing strategic and operational priorities. Your effective communication skills will help you to build strong supplier relationships and negotiate optimal supply terms. With a preference for automating and streamlining procurement processes, you will enhance efficiency and decision-making at every turn. You must be fluent in English, with strong communication skills that enable effective cross-functional collaboration, whether in person, through digital channels, or via video calls. Additionally, your technical writing skills will allow you to document procurement processes, supplier agreements, and sourcing strategies clearly and structured.

Your Main Areas of Accountability

Strategy and Development

  • Contribute to the advancement and execution of best practice procurement strategies, policies, and processes to elevate performance.
  • Develop sourcing strategies for electronic components, prioritizing cost, quality, and supply chain stability.

Operational Procurement & Supply Management

  • Manage procurement operations, including supplier selection, contract negotiations, and performance evaluations.
  • Implement procurement policies and processes to foster operational and financial efficiency.
  • Drive negotiations to achieve cost savings, risk mitigation, and supplier accountability.
  • Monitor procurement KPIs such as cost savings, supplier performance, and delivery timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, and finance) to manage inventory, forecast demand, and optimize supply chain processes.
  • Leverage ERP systems (e.g., SAP, BC) to manage procurement data, automate processes, and generate performance reports.

Financial Management and Cost Control

  • Manage procurement budgets, monitor expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Provide regular reports on procurement performance against budget.

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and implement improvement plans as necessary.

Sustainability & Compliance

  • Promote sustainable procurement practices and support environmental initiatives within the supply chain.

Skills and Attributes

  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship management abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with expertise in data analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software.
  • Ability to manage complex procurement projects and handle competing priorities.

Qualifications and Experience Levels

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is an advantage.
  • 7-10 years of procurement experience, particularly in the electronics industry.
  • Professional certifications such as CPSM, CPM, or equivalent preferred.
