Job Summary

In line with our continued growth, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Manager to lead our strategic sourcing and procurement operations, with a particular focus on electronic components and supply chain optimization. As part of an interdisciplinary team, your responsibilities will involve sourcing and managing materials, goods, and electronic components to support our operational and business objectives.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to develop and implement procurement strategies aimed at optimizing cost, quality, and efficiency. Your role includes leading supplier negotiations, managing contracts, and ensuring supply chain resilience while leveraging ERP systems and data-driven insights to enhance procurement performance.

A proactive and analytical team player, you are committed to driving continuous improvement and developing innovative sourcing solutions. You thrive in dynamic environments, excel in balancing strategic and operational priorities, and are adept at building strong supplier relationships. With a focus on automation and streamlining procurement processes, you enhance efficiency and decision-making. Proficient in English and effective in cross-functional collaborations, you bring technical writing skills to create clear and structured documentation of procurement processes, supplier agreements, and sourcing strategies.

Your Main Areas of Accountability

Strategy and Development

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of best practice procurement strategies, policies, and processes to enhance performance.
  • Develop sourcing strategies for electronic components, focusing on cost, quality, and supply chain stability.

Operational Procurement & Supply Management

  • Manage procurement operations, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and performance evaluation.
  • Implement procurement policies and processes to support operational and financial efficiency.
  • Drive negotiations to achieve cost savings, risk mitigation, and supplier accountability.
  • Monitor procurement KPIs, including cost savings, supplier performance, and delivery timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, and finance) to manage inventory, forecast demand, and streamline supply chain processes.
  • Leverage ERP systems (e.g., SAP, BC) to manage procurement data, automate processes, and generate performance reports.

Financial Management and Cost Control

  • Manage procurement budgets, monitor expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Provide regular reports on procurement performance against budget.

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and implement improvement plans when necessary.

Sustainability & Compliance

  • Promote sustainable procurement practices and support environmental initiatives within the supply chain.

Skills and Attributes

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with expertise in data analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software.
  • Ability to handle complex procurement projects and manage competing priorities.
  • Hands-on mentality and approach.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
  • High emotional intelligence and a positive team player.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 7-10 years of procurement experience, particularly in the electronics industry.
  • Professional certifications such as CPSM, CPM, or equivalent preferred.
