Description of the Role
- Conduct technical and financial assessments of mining assets, emphasizing gold and silver through DCF models and resource-based valuation.
- Prepare comprehensive investment cases, including sensitivity analyses and stress testing.
- Perform on-site due diligence of mining operations worldwide, even in remote locations.
- Participate in international mining conferences and industry events.
- Collaborate with technical experts, management teams, and industry stakeholders.
- Support investor communication, marketing, and fundraising initiatives.
Requirements
- Master’s degree (MSc) or higher in Finance, Economics, Geology, Mining Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the analysis of precious metals mining equities from both technical and financial perspectives.
- Demonstrated experience in constructing financial models, including DCF and resource-based valuations.
- Strong understanding of geological and mining concepts.
- Established professional network within the mining industry.
- Experience interacting with brokers and participants in capital markets.
- Willingness to travel internationally, including to remote locations.
- Familiarity with the Swiss regulatory environment (e.g., FinSA conduct rules) is an advantage.
- Fluency in English.
