We are a FINMA-registered asset manager of collective investments specializing in mining and natural resources. Our team is dedicated to identifying and capitalizing on investment opportunities within the precious metals sector.
Description of the Role
- Conduct technical and financial assessments of mining assets, with a focus on gold and silver, utilizing DCF models and resource-based valuation.
- Prepare investment cases, including sensitivity analyses and stress testing.
- Engage in on-site due diligence of global mining operations, including remote locations.
- Participate in international mining conferences and industry events.
- Collaborate with technical experts, management teams, and industry stakeholders.
- Support investor communications, marketing, and fundraising activities.
Requirements
- Master’s degree (MSc) or higher in Finance, Economics, Geology, Mining Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in analyzing precious metals mining equities from technical and financial perspectives.
- Demonstrated expertise in building financial models, including DCF and resource-based valuations.
- Strong understanding of geological and mining concepts.
- Established professional network within the mining industry.
- Experience in interacting with brokers and capital markets participants.
- Willingness to travel internationally, including to remote locations.
- Knowledge of the Swiss regulatory environment (e.g., FinSA conduct rules) is an advantage.
- Fluency in English is required.
