Responsibilities
- Build project schedules encompassing full project scope, milestones, and timelines using critical path methodology.
- Define clear responsibility and ownership for all project outcomes via Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) methodology.
- Ensure the schedule adheres to the project execution plan, particularly regarding contracting, procurement, and project control strategies.
- Develop a clear method for baselining schedules and managing periodic updates.
- Manage the fully integrated project schedule and structure it for review at various levels and details.
- Negotiate and mediate timelines and project interdependencies between key partners for optimal client outcomes.
- Provide regular updates on schedule progress.
- Review external schedules to ensure compliance with scheduling best practices.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated growth in planning and scheduling skills.
- Experience in quantitative risk assessment (QRA) with the ability to interpret and communicate findings to key partners.
- Proficient in using Primavera P6 planning software for schedule creation.
- A degree or comparable experience in project management or construction.
- Detail-oriented and quality-focused.
