About the Role
Are you an accomplished specialist in General Internal Medicine, ready to take on responsibilities in a demanding clinical environment? As an Assistant Chief Physician for General Internal Medicine at our hospital, you will serve as a key contact for patients facing complex internal medical conditions. Your role will encompass not only providing exemplary medical care but also taking on leadership responsibilities within an interdisciplinary team.
Your Responsibilities
- Care and treatment of hospitalized patients with internal medical conditions
- Performing diagnostic and therapeutic measures at the highest level
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with specialists and other professional groups
- Supervision and training of assistant doctors
- Participation in rounds, internal training sessions, and case discussions
- Support in the development of medical concepts and quality standards in Internal Medicine
Your Profile
- Specialist title in General Internal Medicine (FMH or equivalent)
- Several years of clinical experience in Internal Medicine, ideally with experience as an Assistant Chief Physician
- Passion for interdisciplinary collaboration and training of assistant doctors
- Decision-making capability and sense of responsibility in patient care
- Structured and solution-oriented work style
- Very good German language skills, both spoken and written
