Senior Operations Associate
Location: Baar ZG, Finance / Full-time / Hybrid

We are seeking a passionate operations professional to establish the foundations for our new company branch. Initially, this role will involve shift work for the first twelve months to support operations in the European and US markets.
Our aim is to partner with leading solution providers to enhance the transparency and efficiency of our execution and post-trading workflows. This will enable our key resources to concentrate on problem-solving while embracing automation.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Senior Operations Associate, you will:
- Support portfolio managers and execution traders, managing trade capture, reconciliation, resolution of trade-related queries, ad-hoc reporting, settlement, compressions, collapses, and corporate actions.
- Oversee the complexities involved in daily positions and cash reconciliation.
- Ensure the consistency of information in the Order Management System (OMS) to uphold the reliability of mark-to-market P&L.
You will also interface with:
- The technology team to enhance workflow and reporting automation, increasing scalability.
- The compliance team to maintain automated order filtering and manage exceptions effectively.
- Treasury activities related to collateral and cash-equivalent management, enabling portfolio managers and execution traders to operate securely.
- The pricing and valuation review flow, facilitating communication through common data standards and mutual understanding.
What You’ll Bring:
- A minimum of five years of proven hands-on experience in an operations team dealing with significant flow, including automated trading.
- At least three years of personal hands-on experience handling trade capture and booking amendments in a well-known OMS for futures and IRS.
- Experience in performing trade settlement along with position and P&L reconciliations.
- Proficiency in managing standard line items for IRS, such as unwinds and collapses.
- A solid understanding of futures and IRS, including associated operational workflows.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Willingness to relocate to Switzerland (Zurich/Zug area as needed).
Preferred Experience:
- Hands-on experience in CDS/CDX, FX forwards, and cash equities, particularly in credit-related workflows (such as blended-coupon compressions for CDX).
- Experience in collateral management (margin and cash).
- Experience with corporate actions in cash equities.
- Proficiency in German.
