Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicines Supply Chain Global Planning is seeking a Senior Planner MRP to join our team in Schaffhausen, Switzerland. The successful candidate will report directly to the Senior Manager of Site Planning.

Key Responsibilities
The Senior Planner MRP is responsible for ensuring the availability of direct and consumable materials while enhancing processes to balance service levels, inventory, and material costs. Key responsibilities include:
- Converting the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and the Detailed Schedule (DS) outputs into material requirements to ensure reliable material availability for production.
- Leading S&OP meetings with suppliers, managing supplier order performance, and resolving material supply disruptions.
- Building strong relationships with suppliers and cross-functional partners (e.g., Procurement, Warehousing, Operations, and Quality teams).
- Developing, maintaining, publishing, and communicating material requirements plans to meet patients' and customers' needs.
- Maintaining inventory levels within targets while minimizing excess, obsolete, and expired materials, optimizing the balance between quality, service, reliability, and cost.
- Executing site material inventory projections and leading analysis of actuals versus projection drivers.
- Partnering with Global Procurement to drive supplier performance improvements, including quality and timely delivery in accordance with MPS.
- Tracking and reporting supplier service performance at the site/platform level, communicating this information to relevant stakeholders and teams.
- Collaborating with Quality and Warehouse staff on rejected/defective materials and making arrangements with suppliers for timely returns or disposals.
- Driving adherence and execution of material master data updates to ensure accurate master data for the material portfolio.
- Supporting continuous improvement and the digital transformation of the Material Planning process.
- Improving key MRP metrics, including Supplier On-Time In-Full (OTIF), reliability, inventory, and SLOB targets.
Qualifications
Education
A degree in a relevant field is preferred.
Experience
- 4+ years of relevant supply chain experience, including manufacturing, logistics, and planning, is required.
- Experience in the Pharmaceutical and/or Biopharmaceutical industry is essential, with a fundamental understanding of drug product filling and packaging operations.
- Experience working with external partners, both local and international, is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, capable of translating insights into actionable decisions.
- The ability to manage multiple initiatives and adapt in a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities.
- Influencing and collaborating with individuals across various departments and levels without direct authority.
- Experience with SAP and OMP is preferred.
- Preferred certifications include Supply Chain Certifications (e.g., APICS) and LEAN certifications.
