Your Role and Responsibilities

In this pivotal role, you will oversee our custom modules spare part catalog and our installed base, which are critical components of our sales and service processes based on Power Platform (Dataverse) and SAP knowledge. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing integration architectures between SAP (ECC/S4HANA) and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) and Microsoft Fabric (Data Pipeline, Dataflows Gen2, General ETL techniques).
  • Leading end-to-end integration projects encompassing requirement gathering, architecture design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Providing technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring stable and reliable integration scenarios.
  • Collaborating with SAP Basis, ABAP, and functional teams to select appropriate technologies for compatibility and performance.
  • Defining governance, security, and compliance standards for integration solutions.
  • Optimizing data pipelines and determining delta logic using Microsoft Fabric technologies or Azure Integration.
  • Extending Dataverse to streamline integration by utilizing Custom API or plugin design (C#).
  • Coordinating SAP implementation tasks with the SAP Development Team (Custom RfC, Custom APIs, CDS Views).
  • Staying updated on Microsoft and SAP integration capabilities, best practices, and product roadmaps.

As a Technical Integration Owner, You Will

  • Coordinate the Support Team to monitor integrations and address potential issues.
  • Oversee and deliver development tasks, sprints, and service packs based on plans established with platform owners and project managers.

As SAP Application Owner for "Product Specification & Variant Configuration", You Will

  • Manage the development, optimization, and support of specialized applications in close collaboration with business departments.
  • Consult, document, analyze, and evaluate requirements from various business units.
  • Coordinate change requests and manage implementations with internal and external partners.
  • Ensure data quality and consistency.
  • Plan and execute tests.
  • Support interfaces to adjacent SD modules and external systems.

Your Background

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric Dataflows or Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps) and prior technologies (BizTalk, SSIS, SAP PI).
  • In-depth understanding of SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA architecture, data structures, and integration technologies including IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and OData/API services.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Informatics, Business Informatics, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of technical products and their representation in SAP.
  • Experience with modeling variant products in the LO-VC and AVC SAP module.
  • Familiarity with the SAP classification system and feature management.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Model Driven Power Apps/Dataverse).
  • Familiarity with the Azure integration stack: API Management (APIM), Service Bus, Event Grid, Functions, and Logic Apps.
  • Experience with MS Azure DevOps.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing SAP-to-Microsoft integrations.
  • Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, SAML, Azure AD).
  • Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and data modeling.

Soft Skills

  • Agile project experience and a DevOps mindset.
  • Fluency in German and English.
