Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for our custom modules spare part catalog and our installed base, which is a core part of our sales and service process based on Power Platform (Dataverse) and SAP knowledge. You will transition these modules to the latest technologies (S4 HANA + MS Power Platform). In the long term, you will be the application owner for these modules and will handle the application strategy, requests for changes, and maintenance alongside business stakeholders and the global process owner. Additionally, as an Integration Specialist, you will coordinate all integrations between our new ERP and our Dataverse-based Sales and Service modules.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Design and implement integration architectures between SAP (ECC/S4HANA) and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) and Microsoft Fabric (Data Pipeline, Dataflows Gen2, General ETL techniques).
  • Lead end-to-end integration projects, including requirement gathering, architecture design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to development teams, guiding the team to build stable and reliable integrations.
  • Collaborate with SAP Basis, ABAP, and functional teams to ensure the right technology, compatibility, and performance are chosen.
  • Define governance, security, and compliance standards for integration solutions.
  • Optimize data pipelines and delta logic using Microsoft Fabric technologies or Azure Integration.
  • Extend Dataverse to streamline integration through Custom API or plugin design (C#).
  • Coordinate SAP implementation tasks with the SAP Development Team (Custom RfC, Custom APIs, CDS Views).
  • Stay current with Microsoft and SAP integration capabilities, best practices, and roadmap.

As a Technical Integration Owner, You Will:

  • Coordinate the Support Team working on integration monitoring and issue resolution.
  • Monitor and deliver development tasks, sprints, and service packs according to an agreed plan with platform owners and project managers.

As the SAP Application Owner for "Product Specification & Variant Configuration", You Will:

  • Be responsible for the further development, optimization, and support of this specialized application in close cooperation with business departments.
  • Consult, record, analyze, and evaluate requirements from the business departments.
  • Coordinate change requests and manage implementation with internal and external partners.
  • Ensure data quality and consistency.
  • Plan and execute tests.
  • Support interfaces to adjacent SD modules and external systems.

Your Background

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric Dataflows or Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps) and predecessor technologies (BizTalk, SSIS, SAP PI).
  • Deep understanding of SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA architecture, data structures, and integration technologies including IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and OData/API services.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Informatics, Business Informatics, or a related field.
  • Understanding of technical products and their representation in SAP.
  • Knowledge of modeling variant products in the LO-VC and AVC SAP module.
  • Familiarity with the SAP classification system and feature management.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Model Driven Power Apps/Dataverse).
  • Experience with the Azure integration stack including API Management (APIM), Service Bus, Event Grid, Functions, and Logic Apps.
  • Experience with MS Azure DevOps.
  • Integration Experience: Proven track record of designing and implementing SAP-to-Microsoft integrations, including hybrid cloud/on-premise scenarios.
  • Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, SAML, Azure AD).
  • Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and data modeling.

Soft Skills

  • Agile project experience and a DevOps mindset.
  • Fluent in German and English.
